Is There An Energy Crises?

The world is gradually moving toward a severe energy crisis, what with an ever-increasing demand for energy that oversteps its resources. We know that the energy we use every day is not unlimited, yet we take it for granted. There is no unlimited supply of gas, oil, or even water. Yet, we have not taken enough steps to handle the impending energy crisis. This isn’t only the government’s responsibility, but everyone’s.

The Fuel Scarcity : Get This Solution Now!

Oil and gas have already become too expensive, and with each passing day, they are closer to running out. There are some ignorant people who don’t believe in the energy crisis. It seems they are not looking at the whole picture. So far we’ve experienced three major energy crises: the 1973 oil crisis, the 1979 energy crisis, and the 1990 oil price hike, not to mention the many regional crises.

Prices have been rapidly increasing during the past five years, due to the ever-growing demand and the continuing depletion of energy sources.

How soon will it be all gone? Are the doubters correct when they say we are exaggerating the problem, or is the energy crisis a valid problem? Well, think about this: Fifty percent of the world’s oil is gone. If the present rate of consumption continues, our oil will be gone in 32 years. What if it didn’t just continue at the same rate, but actually increased? And it’s bound to do so. So it’s possible that even the present generation could face a serious energy crisis.

What are we doing about it?
Are we ready for this impending energy crisis? What can be done to help prevent it, or at least slow it down? Well, to begin with, we need to recognize and appreciate the importance of our energy resources and not take them for granted. We have to minimize the consumption of oil, gas, electricity, or any other fuel. We cannot afford to waste our valuable resources. We need to increase awareness concerning our limited energy resources. Simple things like joining a car pool, turning off car engines at traffic lights, and decreasing the use of gas and oil in everyday activities will help a long way in crisis-preparedness.

What are the alternate energy options?
As a responsible world citizen, start seeking out alternative energy solutions like solar energy and wind energy. It is both practical and cost-effective to use these alternative power solutions. Not only can you lower you utility bills but you can help contribute to better future for our earth and generations to come.

Generate electricity at home using solar and wind energy to eliminate your power bill. For more information:
