It is being feared that the pace at which the mankind is utilizing the fossil fuels, non-renewable energy, like petrol, diesel, etc, after few years they will entirely come to an end. To substitute them, there must be some substitute. And what else can be a better option other than renewable resources. In developing countries renewable resources are the most apt as well as affordable resource because in rural areas, transmission and creation of energy, generated from non-renewable resources is a bit difficult and expensive. Producing renewable energy and distributing it is a feasible alternative in rural areas. This option would also be practiced in developed areas as well in the coming years. Renewable resources thus will provide broader markets and trends. Renewable energy is the energy that is produced from natural resources like sun, wind, rain, tides, etc. In short, renewable energy is the energy that is generated from renewable resources, that is, resources that are naturally replenished. These resources are renewable in a sense that they never come to an end. Renewable energy is thus, produced from natural phenomena. The advantage in this is that the resourced replenished constantly. Though there are numerous renewable resources, renewable energy is generally produced from three main renewable resources namely, wind power, waterpower and sunlight. Though majority of renewable energy is powered from sun, wind and water energy are also enormously energetic. Each of these sources has some exclusive characteristics and these characteristics influence how and where they are used. But, the need of the hour is that we should conserve fossil fuels. Though we have a viable alternative but that does not imply that we should use the fossil fuels blindly. A strong awareness should be extended among the people. With this awareness, we will be able to conserve some amount of fossil fuels that may help them to long last.
