Your ultimate goal is to get good, clean water for drinking, free of contaminants; that is all that most people want. You will actually see those words on almost every filter system available, because marketers know that is what you want to see. If possible, try to ignore the advertising hype you see and look at the facts. Reputable companies should provide product performance data for their own systems.
